Rough Idea: A monthly virtual meet-up for Local Guides globally? A couple local guides could volunteer to host /coordinate on zoom or Google Meet. We can cap each meet-up to 50 members. I’d love to meet 49 other Local Guides every month!

Nice to E-meet you here on connect. That’s not a bad idea, you just kick start it and we’ll follow suit.
Write your meet-up post and submit it for approval so that all other local guides can be invited publicly.
Hold and enjoy your meet-up,share the recap so we can know how it goes etc.

As @SholaIB mentioned, this could create a great opportunity for Local Guides to connect virtually. A few pieces of advice to get your meet-up submission on Connect approved:

Add as much detail about your event as possible, so Local Guides know what to expect and decide whether they want to join!

Use your own images for the cover photo(s) or images that follow our original content guidelines.

If you need to collect personal data, such as email addresses, make sure to add a note to your meet-up description saying that this information will be used only for the purposes of the meet-up organization. Here’s one example of a registration form for a virtual meet-up that’s coming up! We take privacy seriously.
