Objective of the Meetup
The objective of this meetup is to raise awareness among Google Local Guides about the harmful impact of plastic usage during travel and to encourage sustainable, eco-friendly practices. The session aims to highlight how plastic waste is damaging tourist places and monuments, and to explore practical ways travelers can reduce their plastic footprint. Additionally, the meetup will emphasize the important role Local Guides can play in promoting responsible tourism and educating others within their communities.
