It’s the need, we have to bring awareness to clean our beaches & surrounding it can be possible when we join together take a pledge area wise were we stay bring awareness among the people.

@ErmesT I read his article on waste I think a year ago. That time I had mention there was a nalla behind my building & I am happy to say after trying hard for one year they covered it ,now it’s clean this time due to rain my bldg will not be choked up. We can open & clean the nalla & cover it.

@KarenVChin @ErmesT looking forward to this meet up. We have a reserve forest just beyond our gated colony campus, in the midst of the bustling city of New Delhi. It is home to a large number of birds. Our national bird, the peacock, live in large numbers there. They do drop into our campus as well. Along with a number of local residents I’ve been instrumental in cleaning the area up. I’m looking forward to gathering some more tips. Thanks for this again!

Glad to see you RSVP to my virtual meetup again @RosyKohli . I do have to ask: What is a “nalla?” Is it a ravine?

Cheers,

Karen

Wonderful @NitaBC !

Do you have photos to share regarding the large number of peacocks living in the reserve forest? Do people go out and look for them? Here, in the wine country, Napa and Sonoma counties, wineries use peacocks as “watch dogs” or “guard dogs” because they make such loud noises.

See you on the 20th.

Cheers,

Karen

Great idea of meet up @KarenVChin ! I really need this meet up. About the “Local guides Clean the World” I learned from @ErmesT in February. After my post about “Abnormal weather in Ukraine” https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Abnormally-weather-in-Ukraine/td-p/2160918

I really wanted to organize this event in my city, but because of quarantine I did not have time.

I hope to get useful knowledge from you and bring it to life after the end of quarantine.

See you! )))
