Do you know that 1 in 3 women have experienced physical and sexual violence worldwide? If you care about human rights and defending women rights, then this meet-up is for you! This meet-up is also in support of the #16Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) campaign which begins from 25 November 2018 i.e. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women to 10 December 2018 i.e. Human Rights Day. Join in, as we create awareness on the use of Google Maps as a tool against GBV. We shall add/verify the locations of possible emergency places like Health Facilities including Clinics, Hospitals, Primary Health Centres, and Police Stations. Do not forget to come along with your cameras or smartphones, power banks, bottled water, snacks and sunglasses or face caps. See you there!
