We were truly amazed how well-renowed Vilnius was. Old Town is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. My photos do not cover here all interesting places and buildings in the city, because there are many of them. I recommend you to see all of attractions on your own. Vilnius was a nice “city break” for us, with delicious food, Old Town with “atmosphere” and nice weather, too 
Vilnius is a capital city of Lithuania, Europe. In April 2019 we went there to visit this city, that was a large part of our polish history, as Poland and Lithuania used to be a one country from 1569 untill 1795 as Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

This post was supposed to be mainly photo type, so I do not include many details. The best way to get to Vilnius is by plane, but as we live in Poland we went there by car. When it comes to best season to visit the city I think from May till the end of September. We did our sightseeing at the end of April/beginning of May and the weather was perfect.

@TorM I’m also planning a trip to Kiev and Czernobyl next year, Lviv is all about delicious food and great bars, pubs, restaurants, so for sure I’ll go back there one day!
