Bhoyar is my native village in Uttar pradesh. It is 100 kms away from Basti a tier 3 city. It is still untouched by technology, electricity or industries, one of the remotest village of India.
People in this village grow their own food, live in the most unpolluted and clean environment. Below are the few photographs which I took during my visit last November.
I love this tree the most, it has weaver bird’s nest. The male weaver bird weaves the nest to impress the female weaver bird for mating and to start a family. The female weaver bird selects the best nest. This nest is inverted and is waterproof.

Great photos of this beautiful village @PriyankaU . Is it difficult for families to live without electricity? What do they use for night lighting etc? In February/March I visited the South Pacific Island of Vio which is off the coast of Lautoka in Fiji, and found that for many years that the villagers on the island didn’t have clean water or electricity but modern technology has now come to their aid.
This village is connected to the electricity grid of the Government. They get electricity twice a week. Also most of the houses in the village have a solar rooftop, they use solar lights provided by the Government.
