I am regularly posting photos and videos. But recently, I observed that the views are not being counted. Also, I am not getting any points for posting them.
What must be the reason and is there anything I can do to correct it?
This image was posted 3 weeks ago. And no views yet !! No points were credited to my account for posting this image
@Rkh since early February, we all experience the view counts on new posts show up much later than they used to and the counts on older media items show an outdated value of month ago which now increases extremely slowly. There is a long discussion thread on that. Please see here.

I am convinced, the local guides did loose priority already a while ago. I remember a statement where someone compared the number of Google moderators (versus external volunteer moderators) for Connect in the past and now - “now” meaning a couple of months ago.
The biggest issue with this “view problem” is the fact that we only hear very few, vage and late statements from any Google moderator.
The problem itself - in my opinion - is simply a result of drastically cutting infrastructural and computing resources, as well as internal technical support. Just my two cents without knowing any internals and I might be wrong as well.
