The view count on the total photos count in Google maps have stopped however on individual photos I can see the views to be increasing.
Is this a bug??

Google Maps needs time to synchronize your actual views with your badge counter. This may take some time but no need to worry, your counter will update and the badge is earned.

@Aruni Thank you for the prompt reply. This bug specifically triggered when I went a badge up from 5 to 6.
However, I am patiently waiting for the views to be updated.

For some reason my photo views have not updated for 5 days. Is there something I need to do?

Hi @tperry724 . Sometimes the server takes a while to sync up. I believe that you don’t need to worry about that and eventually, the counter will be updated.

You need not worry about the total view count when the individual photos continue to display an updated view number for each.
The summation of the view count is possibly a batch process and there can be extended delays sometimes, particularly when a major revamp takes place in the app.
A user is not required to do something and perhaps can’t do anything to initiate that.

It constantly stops updating the view count on a regular basis. Is there a solution to ensure that this doesn’t happen please. Thank you for your help
Hi , is your problem fixed? I have the same problem now in Local guides.
This has happened many times in the past. But don’t worry. The view counts on the individual images are still ticking so nothing will be lost. It is just the sum that is delayed. Earlier I saw 3 weeks between updates.

Check again. The total photo views were just updated.
