Towards the end of August I stayed overnight in Vienna, and with a few spare hours to fill, decided to step out for an evening of no set rules camera inspired fun. Here are two of the least worst end products.

Very nice photos and thanks for sharing with us. Keep sharing this kind of photos more.
Hi @user_not_found
,
Absolutely stunning photos! How did you take them? What camera did you use? It would be interesting to read more about your photography techniques. I never learned to shoot a long exposure photo.
How did you enjoy Vienna? I used to live there for two years and I really loved it. The opera house is really beautiful.
Nice photos, thank you for sharing with us @user_not_found
@DanniS , glad you like this. I shoot pics and whilst satisfied, am never sure what others will make of them.
Vienna was a transit stop on the way to Graz. To me, the region around Graz retains an extra special kind of charm.
On the photo front, much of what I do is reliant on a mix of raw gut instinct, few or minimal time constraints, trial and error. Then afterwards, I hope, an eye for detail with the tidy up/edit.
Camera: Fujifilm X-T2
Lens: Ceiling shot - A decades old manual focus Canon FD 50mm adapted to X-T2
Tram shot - Fujinon 18mm (arguably Fujifilm’s worst lens designed for X-Series cameras)
Cheap-ish Manfrotto tripod
Post-shoot edits: Lightroom/Nik plugin.
Here’s one from Graz - Early morning, a misty sunrise…
Wow @user_not_found
, absolutely stunning! I love the fog there. Austria has some really beautiful nature and your photo is really charming! I’d love to see a post just about your photographs, I think it would be really helpful and useful to others as well.
@DanniS I agree. Austria is a wonderful European destination.
Am not sure what kind of post you were asking for. Aside from a personal point of view, is there something I’m able to offer which isn’t readily available elswhere? If yes, tell!
In the meanwhile, here’s more from Vienna:
Mood pic - I, Operal House.
Mood pic II - The contradictions of Grafitti -vs- St Francis of Assisi Church -vs- nice clean lines of the underpass structure, on a cloud filled rainy day.

Stunning photos! What I meant to say is, to create a new post with your photographs with information regarding your techniques and skills. As you have great photos, it might be great for other Local Guides to read about how you capture such great photos.
For example, here’s How to take unique photos of popular landmarks .
Let me know if it makes sense
@RadieN I’m not sure whether to be delighted now or too scared to look over my own shoulder!!
But thanks for the nudge, I hadn’t been aware the post was confined to trash.
Tell your anti-spambot it’s ok to relax, I come in peace and mean no harm.
