I upload a video yesterday attached with a review and noticed no sound.
This morning I added another video and still no sound. It was missing the 
icon so I assumed it would automatically have sound.
Is this a new bug?
Anyone else having the same issue?
I have just tested this by uploading a video with sound and found perfectly okay when it got uploaded completely @waza28.
Video sound is coming on the Maps.
The sounds doesn’t work when the videos are uploaded with the review.
Ive just gone back and checked, I have 2 different individual videos uploaded with sound, that are not attached to the review. These were uploaded at the end of April.
The issue is attaching the video with the reviews just recently. I have 2 reviews with videos, no sound.
Are those reviews publicly posted @waza28?
Yes both reviews are live
And, you uploaded the videos which had the sound, right?
Can you try uploading just a video with sound without review and see how it goes @waza28?

I’ve never had any uploaded videos that has sound, that’s ever since I’ve checked in the past 8 years. Multiple devices, brands of phone.
One user on Reddit previously said that if you just tap the Contribute button → Add Photo, then select you video, and choose the POI. Then they noticed that uploaded videos have sound.
I never tried that method to confirm, but worth a shot.

Google has a filter that removes audio from videos if copyright protected music is detected.
I’m looking forward to read the test results to learn if audio is remiv d if uploaded with a review.

My review hasn’t been published with the attached video. Should I delete the the whole thing?
I always upload the videos separately because sometimes the review won’t publish. I added a video with my pervious review it got published but no sound. This time the review didn’t work so I’m not sure if the review or video.
I’m sure @MortenCopenhagen will be able to help me.

The missing audio is a secondary problem. Take down the review and try uploading the video directly (not attached to a review) and let us know if the audio survives. When done please share the relevant Maps link(s).

To understand this further we need to know if all videos attached to reviews are silent movies.
I don’t normally attach videos with my
reviews. All of my other videos have sounds that have been posted.
No one else has mentioned this issue so I’m not sure, might just be me.
