Ok,i have a problem. When I add a video (from my android app) to a place in google map it dont show up,neither at the place where the video was added neither in my contributions list. Anyomd knows whats going on???

What upload settings are you using @Erlander2401 ? By default videos only upload over wifi so the phone won’t send them until it has a wifi connection then it will push them all up in the background.

I note, 272 videos are already to your credit. Can you inform since when the problem started & what’s the exact error message @Erlander2401 ?
If the video duration is more than 10 sec, you can’t upload that through the Maps app. You have to post that through Google photos.
Though WiFi happens the preferred connectivity for uploading any video, I could add an eight seconds video over 4G LTE network.

Thx for the reply @C_T always uploaded videos over the google map to the places where the video was shot. Yesterday I uploaded a video of a train on a train station but it does not show…only pic that I uploaded of the station together with the video. I uploaded the video not over wi-fi but over my mobile connection service as all other videos that I ever uploaded. Never used wi-fi for that! What changed?

Have you tried uploading any other videos after this incident? Maybe the upload just failed once and the problem is gone now. Please check.

Hi @MortenCopenhagen ! Yep.I tried upload another video for a different place…3 times and it doesnt upload the video till the end…in the middle of uploading the uploading screen just vanishes. I guess it doesnt upload and that is why there are no videos present. But I have 4G connection and it takes ages uploading and then it just vanishes before the uploading is complete. Dont know why?!

It sure sounds strange, @Erlander2401 .
And I trust you are aware of the 30 sec limit for videos on Google Maps.
Could you try from another platform to check if the problem is related to your account or the platform.?
I’m running out of ideas.
