Videos achievements not posting?

I posted three videos 2 days ago, but the achievement hasn’t changed. Is this common?

Thanks and a shout out to all the local guides out there. Kris

Hi @klagreca ,

Thanks for reaching out.

As you may see in the first screenshot you have uploaded, you will be able to unlock the Novice Director badge when videos of three places are added. In the last screenshot, I see you have three videos added to one place. For that reason, the badge remains unlocked.

Keep up contributing and unlock various badges to your account.

By the way, your profile picture looks like a business logo to me. I would like to ask you to change it, as this is a violation of our program rules. It’s important Local Guides contribute content as unbiased individuals.

Please be informed that I am going to relabel your post to the How-tos section of Connect as this is the place where you may ask questions and share your feedback about the Local Guides program.

Hi Masha, Thanks for the reply! I changed my profile photo.

Regarding the video – but shouldn’t I see credit for 1 video then? My director badge is zero.

Hello @klagreca ,

Thank you for changing your profile photo to align the program rules.

As for your question, the video counter of your profile will count every photo you upload and do adhere to the content policy. To unlock the badge you should upload three different videos to three places.

Thank you!

@ErmesT please help to solve this issue. I have shared videos a month ago and the same video count has been reflecting in contribution section but when I am opening “unlock director” badge it’s showing 2/3 videos shared.

Please find below attached screenshot

Hello @Anshu3

To unlock the badge, you need posting videos at three different places. If you have posted two videos for one single place, that would not be eligible to unlock the badge.

Further, it is possible that one of the contribution has now become private because somebody flagged that as objectionable. Again a private contribution does not qualify to unlock a badge.

@Anshu3 , I agree with @C_T

As your contribution are hidden for privacy, we cannot give you a better answer.

So we will have to wait for your feedback. Please check the indication given by @C_T

Hi @Anshu3 ,

Thanks for your question.

In addition to the useful advice above, I would like to let you know that I will merge your post to a thread where this has been already discussed. Just to keep the conversation in one place.

Thank you!
