Victor Falls - Bonney Lake, WA (2019)

Victor Falls in Bonney Lake, Washington is 70-foot waterfall with some cool history and an easy walk. So this place became an official park sometime around 2012 to preserve the history of the watershed and I do like that the park has a huge parking lot but some things could be added to make it even cooler. One thing that I enjoy is how short the walk is from the parking lot but you realise quickly that you are stuck looking at the fall from the observation area and that you can not get to the bottom without a rope, so I think they could add a trail to the bottom to really make the park more popular. Overall the park is cool and If you are in the area I would definitely check it out!

@ElEmilio Thanks. What is the source of this water?

Fennell creek.

Before the falls became a park you used to be able to go down a small but steep trail to the top of the falls. I have stood there many times on the very edge next to the rapid waters running over. It is exhilarating, however also incredibly dangerous. That is why there is now a fence at the top observation area with fair warning for those who decide to jump it. I have also been to the bottom of the falls many times and that also is quite breathtaking. It does require ropes and physical agility.
