Nice place to view the beach and very peaceful place to do the yoga and other physical exercises and do the early morning music practice and peaceful mind in every morning when here comes.

@Ranjith_S yes, one of my favorite beaches in Chennai, lots of people there and evenings are particularly wonderful.
Besant Nagar is nice too.
