Verona - the forgotten history of Romeo and Juliet.

Two years ago, during a business trip to Italy, I spent a pleasant evening in Verona. This small town fascinated us with its rich history and preserved architecture of times long past.

Due to the limited number of images on Connect, I decided to try this form of presentation.

In the video you will see images from these places:

I admire your presentation in this post. Watching the video shows the spirit of the city even better.

You managed to capture quite a big part of Verona. Which of these places you liked the most?

Beautiful video, @KarolT , thank you for sharing the beauty of Verona.

I like so much the Arena, but also one of the greatest fairs of the world about the wine: VinItaly.

Not casually it is hosted in Verona, on an area that produce great wines

Thanks for your reply @KarolT ,

I’ve never been to Verona and this part of Italy but dream of it.

It is always very useful to have some recommended places by a person who experienced them. I am saving the Google Maps links.

Thanks

Hi @MashaPS

In addition to the most famous cities such as Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, there are a number of small towns with a rich history, which offer their charm and unique atmosphere for visitors.

Here is my report from another beautiful unknown town in northern Italy - Treviso:

Hi @KarolT ,

I agree with you. In my opinion, if one wants to feel the real spirit of each new country they are visiting, the best is to dive into non-touristic places and mix with locals.

Thanks for reminding me of this great post of yours.
