I takesgreat pride and great care when I edit the name or address. Unfortunately, whoever or whatever in charge of verifying the accuracy of the details does not seem to have the latest information and rejects the update.
On several occasions, I go to large shopping centres to photograph the shop front and submit to Google Maps, and supply updated address or change of ownership details. In fact, when a shopping centre changes name, all the stores involved required address change.
I have submitted several edits, but are rejected recently. The changes are definitely correct as I did personally visited the shopping centre and the stores. I submitted the edits repeatedly hoping that this would bring to the attention of the person to notice the changes being accurate.
- One such example is The Lott which has an incorrect address showing in the address line it is in Target Centre. My several updates to change it to Kmart Centre have been rejected. Target Centre is no longer in existence, and the centre has been renamed. I even included a screen shot from The Lott Web site to show the correct the address!
Is there any suggestion, anyone?
