In Venezuela Christmas is a very special season for us too. We like getting together and spending a good time in family. Different than the United States, we get together Dec 24th and wait until midnight for the 25th and get presents, here in the US people in general get together for a family lunch on the 25th.

Last night we had a family meal, and many Venezuelans came to my house to get together and eat in community as a new family.

Merry Christmas @mariorosas!

In Hungary, we celebrate Christmas just as in Venezuela. The family gathers on the 24th for a dinner, and we give the presents on that night.

These dishes look very delicious, I would love to try all of them.

@Petra_M I love your table and decorations, I’ve always wanted to visit Hungary. Hopefully I’ll be able to spend a Christmas there one day! Thanks for sharing I really appreciate you engaging with my post and taking the time to share your Christmas experience. It means a lot to me.
