Thank you for your tag. I have never visited Venice, but after this picture that you have posted I could change my trip plans for 2019 and try to go there maybe for a weekend, ideally during it’s glamorous Carnival. Seems a coincidence but even the Photo of the Week is dedicated to Marco Polo’s and Casanova’s city.

I love Italy in general, and I get excited when I see a post related to your country @Sorbe . I suggest you put Venice on your to-visit list. You will not regret it.

Looks like you have been there in summertime. How long have you been in Venice?
Great that you want to come during Carnival @Sorbe . Be careful, Venice is very crowded during the event, but please tag me if you want to come. Treviso is 20 minutes by train to Venice, is easier to find a place to stay, at a better price 
Some tip for you: Venezia, an unconventional view. Take your time, is a long thread.
During Carnival there is also a long cue if you want to visit one of the Iconic Venetian place: Palazzo Ducale

Hi again @InaS ,
I think foodwise is the best city that I have ever been so far, and it’s quite well connected to Florence, as in one hour more or less you can arrive there. I would strongly advise you to go there in spring time, as summer there is way too hot and there is no seaside to have any refreshment break.

I have been thinking for a long time now to make a tour around Italy, as they are so many cool cities to see @Sorbe . I will ask for some tips and tricks from you before I travel.

Thank you for your lovely photos from Venice!
I found a picture from Venice that looks almost the same like yours. This city is absolutely amazing according to me. The second photo I wanted to share with you is from Padua which is very close to Venice. I can say this is also a nice city and they make an amazing pizza in Bella Napoli.
