hey @moumita that looks like a real interesting dish. I’m big into southern Indian cuisine so always on the look out for recipes which don’t normally appear in international cookery books.

It’s very smooth like a dhal. Somethings look like nuts (or cardamons). Is that eaten with rice, noodles, naan - or all of the above? Is the condiment sauce fermented black beans and chilli? Looks good!

Basically it is prepared with grounded meats cooked with pounded aromatic spices ,wheat and pulses. To appease the taste bud of the veggies you can make it a veg one also with soya nuggets. It does not need any food, rice or chapati like accompaniment. It’s itself a whole food, nutritious too. Mostly an Iftar accompaniment but can be savored any time in the day or night.
