Recently, I had a chance to visit “Purani Dilli Style” in Wollert, Melbourne, Australia. Here, I had one of the best Indian food in Melbourne’s North.

@sparekh wow!

Delicious food, at first it seemed like it is a picture from any Indian restaurant !

But must say this one is presented 100% Indian style and everything looks delicious too :yum:

Hello @sparekh ,

Thank you for sharing these photos with us, everything seems to be very delicious!

Is this place specialized only in vegetarian Indian meals?

You know, sometimes foreign dishes get adapted to the taste of the locals, so how authentic are these Indian meals?

Hi @BorrisS you are right. This place only serves vegetarian food.

Most of the time the Indian food you get at restaurants is not authentic as you mentioned.

Hi @BorrisS you are right. This place only serves vegetarian dishes.

This is one of the rare Indian places in Melbourne where you can actually find authentic Indian taste.

Hi @sparekh ,

This thali looks really wonderful and I’m sure all the dishes would be delicious too. It seems Punjabi thali to me - I can see tandoori naan and chhole in these pictures. The salad mixed with red chutney looks marvellous. Presentation is too good.

Thank you very much @FalguniP for tagging me here. I think I would have missed it otherwise. I’m sure you can too prepare many of the items present in these thalis.
