Veer maruti (madya maruti) temple pride of karad,Maharashtra

#TongueTwistingNamesOfTheTemples.
@AjitThite
Thanks dada this challenge help me to introduce my city temple which is very old and unique.
I am using pictures from Google maps so that people can know how it looks like.

In 1838, this temple was built in the sands of the Krishna River near Saidapur karad, Maharashtra.
This stone-walled temple came to be located in the riverbed of the Krishna after the construction of the Khodshi dam, which altered the course of the river.
This Veer Maruti temple stands in the Krishna riverbed, to the east of Preeti Sangam. It is also known as Madhya Maruti. Madhya maruti is quirkiest name.
Earlier, funeral rites used to be performed near this temple, and perhaps that is why it came to be called Madhya Maruti. But now people of Karad city using name Veer maruti.
For at least eight to nine months of the year, this temple remains submerged in water.
Even though floods have occurred here many times, this temple has not suffered any damage and remains in good condition. Because it is surrounded by water, there is less movement of people in this area. The temple has been painted saffron, so it easily catches the eye no matter from where you look at it.

There is big krishna river bridge near to this temple which is connected to karad and many other small villages.

Auch wenn die Namen nicht übersetzbar sind @Supriyadevkar ich finde diesen Tempel erstaunlich obwohl er sich so lange unter Wasser befindet sieht alles sehr gut aus :+1::folded_hands:
