Vatican. Global city-state. Museum of Christianity.

Vatican. Long or short. But I decided and I want to tell You about the city-state in the center of the capital of Italy, Rome-the Vatican. I will tell you, as usual, about the impression, feeling and influence of the city on me. For the history of this city, see Wikipedia. It was a hot September in Rome and by chance I was in the Vatican. The cobblestones were so hot that they could be felt through the thin soles of her sandals. The Vatican is not just a city-it is the history of all Christianity. This is a city where people come to ask and thank. and believe me, it is charged with a huge energy. This city is a Museum. it looks small in the photo, but it’s not. he has a big, kind soul. in it you want to dream and thank that we live in this world and see the blue sky and the Golden sun. I am the Cathedral of St. Peter you know what impressed, because it seems that you can allegedly walk 2 steps to any object, but in fact 200 steps. (as in life it seems that the stars can be reached by hand). The map gallery impressed me (I love maps). The smell of the Vatican (it was very easy for me to breathe - and I didn’t feel the heat at all. The Vatican is the history of human life. There are a lot of art objects collected there.

I often remember this bright day of my life. It was filled with positive and bright emotions. After all, sometimes you want to feel like you really are. And answer questions about why we walk on this earth. And this is the place to answer these questions.

Hi @Sviatlana ,

Thank you for sharing this great post with us!

I really enjoyed reading your post, and the Vatican is on my travel list since long time. I hope I’ll have the chance to visit it and see the Sistine Chapel, the museums and the St. Peter’s Square. What did you like the most there?

@Petra_M Thank you for your response! The Vatican is a city in which you can not distinguish one thing and not say about the other! It’s pulsing. In the Sistine chapel, I stood open-mouthed. everything fades.
