Varaždinska Građanska garda ispred Gradske vijećnice na glavnom varaždinskom trgu, Trgu kralja Tomislava
Varaždinska građanska garda nastala je 1750. godine.
Gradski statut donio je odluku da se građani tadašnjeg grada Varaždina skupe, organiziraju i naoružaju samo sa jednim jedinim ciljem, za obranu grada od neprijatelja.
Mogli su se priključiti svi građani osim plemića i svećenika. Oni nisu imali tu obavezu.
Varaždinska građanska garda održala se sve do danas.
Danas ona ima samo turistički i ceremonijalni značaj. Kod nekih slavlja, svečanosti, obljetnica oni se pojavljuju da svojim prisustvom uveličaju određeni događaj.
Svake subote garda ima smjenu straže ispred Gradske vijećnice i to izgleda zanimljivo i za nas Varaždince i za turiste.
Mi Varaždinci gardu zovemo još popularno “Purgari”.
Varaždinska građanska garda dobila je status nematerijalne kulturno-povijesne baštine Republike Hrvatske.

Thank you so much for informing us about your tradition and guard with your civil responsibility ceremonies. Here in the US we are trying to figure out how political government and the people in the street that make up the public and mold together with the same indigenous obligations and cultures. We call it empathology, this is the study of the different entropic environmental indifferences which definitely create a negative outcome if gone unattended with no oversight regulation and free reigning expression there’s constitutional rights which protect us into encouraging symbolic expression in the communities. Although sometimes these cultural indifferences and barriers of expression that’s misunderstood causes miscommunication, which is a major problem that a military presence such as the guard that you posted probably wouldn’t fly long here in the United States before trouble ended up sparking up. You know the way the world is starting to vier-chaotic!

Iskreno, nisam baš sve razumjela što ste napisali.
Moram napomenuti da ova građanska garda nema apsolutno nikakvu vojnu strukturu, ima samo kulturni, povijesni i turistički značaj.
Ne služim se engleskim tako da Google prevoditelj prevodi sve na hrvatski.
Ne znam da li ste u svojoj posljednjoj rečenici spomenuli riječ “pornografija” ??!!?!! , ili je to samo greška u prijevodu

Ciao @renata1 grazie per questa bella storia. Anche in alcune nostre città ci sono le guardie in alta uniforme davanti ad alcuni edifici. È vero, adesso sembra siano lì solo per i turisti o per le ricorrenze storiche ma comunque sono dei militari che rappresentano la salvaguardia della sicurezza. È sempre emozionante assistere ad un cambio della guardia vero?

Hola @renata1 tú sabes que no me queda claro. Tampoco en inglés es mi lengua nativa, he tratado de traducir con otras aplicaciones de traducción y no veo ni la acepción ni siquiera un sinónimo.

Hope you have seen the costume of British Army… India also copied almost similar design in the past.
Of course, now these remain as ceremonial dress only. Modern dress suites our weather and their duty more.
