It is one of the amazing sights of Tajikistan”, whose poetic name translates as “Valley of Forty Girls.” This is a unique monument that nature itself has created for centuries in the mountains near the city of Kulyab, Tajikistan. It is an amazing shape huge rock formations resembling the silhouettes of forty petrified girls.
“The Legend of Beautiful Girls”
There are many different legends about the origin of this miracle of nature. According to one of them, these stone statues, closely pressed against each other, were once beautiful girls who did not want to become concubines of cruel invaders.
They preferred to turn into stone blocks, which Allah earnestly prayed for. Believing this legend, visitors to these ancient places, as well as local residents, decorate petrified “sisters” with ribbons and flowers every spring. View this place on Google here

It mostly depends on you. The country is small, so 2 weeks is enough to see average known place here.
Tourist mostly like to have circle tours.

Culturally we are different here. The 93% of country is mountain. Some of region was isolated from others.
But mostly our culture is the result of historical change in the region.We are Persian but though the ages our culture was affected by different others: Arabs, Macedonian, Turkish Soviet.
