Vaduz - A wonderland

Vaduz is very small township like city. Walking around it will not take very long. Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein. The Prince’s castle and his museums are apparently the major attractions in here, and thus the main point of interest for visitors to this small country.

The best way to move around Liechtenstein is by car or bus, with all villages linked by bus. It takes little more than half an hour to drive from one end to the other.

Vaduz is located along the Rhine River. This place looks very similar to Switzerland and Austria which are neighbouring countries and it is irrelevant to mention it since the geography is so tiny and falls beside these beautiful countries that it natures inherits all the natural scenic views from them.

The main highlight is the castle and this can been seen on top of a mountain even from the downtown like area below.

There are several chalets just like you see in Switzerland. Beautiful houses.

The road train ride is a quick and fun way to see around Vaduz and experience the essence of its beauty.

Hello @Sudhi3 ,

Thanks for sharing your photos. I have never been to Liechtenstein but it looks like a place I would love to visit. I like the architecture there and the marvellous nature that surrounds it. Are there many things to do around the city? What would you recommend? Did you visit any nice restaurants and what is the traditional food like there?

Nice post about Lichtenstein and Vaduz. Maybe @Jesi will like it as well

I have been there last spring and before when I was a child. My children where quite fascinated about how small this country is and that is was really totally clean in every corner…
