This temple was established more than 100 years ago by the local Sarkars and Pramaniks.
They named the temple “Uttar Banga Vaishnab Sanmelani Harisabha”.
There is a Shiva Linga in this temple.
Which is so called religious for the local people. The Shiva Linga was modified from a under construction road…
But the stone was different… Then the priest of Harimandir take it to the temple and started to worship this as Lord Shiva.
But once a day a arcitearc has came to the temple…
And offered the mandir committee that he will take the Shiva Linga instead of lot of money and a new Shiva Linga from kashi.
But the local people don’t agree with him…
Then the temple committee has investigate about the stone…
Then it is seen that the stone was an historical stone…
It’s market value can’t be measure…
