Service. Customer service. Good customer service. Why is it so hard to find?
In a world where so many businesses just want to make a quick buck I believe it’s important to reward great businesses by providing positive reviews that will attract more customers.
Equally businesses whose customer service just isn’t up to scratch need to know, they need to be made aware of how they can improve. Sometimes companies only take action when they’re shamed into doing so and online reviews are a fantastic mechanism to do this.
So rather than just saying “thank you” for great customer service, or “go raibh maith agat” as we say in Ireland, I love to give a “Google Maps thank you” with a 5-star review.
I know my review alone may not make a difference, but the collective collaboration by Local Guides helps to ensure great customer service is rewarded as positive reviews attract more customers.
