Before that, I can choose Indonesia languange on languange selection tab without fuss. Now, I can’t find it directly and this can’t slide sideways. So, I must turned off the portrait orientation function on my phone so I can choose it as this.
So, is this a new way to choose a language for your choice that isn’t visible?

The problem mentioned by you is a known issue.
Have you changed the default language to something else?
Earlier, you could select the Indonesian language without any fuss & the reason could be that it was the default on your device as well as in settings on Connect.
I understand the default language takes the first position in language selection.
Unfortunately, I can’t test the setting as none of the Indic languages can become the default on the Connect site.

As indicated by @C_T , the first language that appear on the translator is the one related to the language setting on your device.
In any case, as several Local Guides use different settings, I suggested times ago to Add a scrollbar on the language selection of the translator in Connect .
In this way everyone will have access to the whole list of languages

It’s not clear whether you are still trying to find the desired language or can do so without panning the language change board.
Nevertheless, there is another solution until we get some final cure.
On the phone, always open Connect in Google Chrome instead of the pseudo app. Then click the three dots at the top to access the Chrome menu. There you will find another option to translate. Select that and do the translation. Here, the language selector appears as a vertical strip which is convenient to manoeuvre.
