Hy guys,
I have tried to upload on LG connect pictures already uploaded in google maps.
I go into the photo on my google map contribution, click on share and copy paste the link into connect.
It doesn’t work. I have the following message erro :“Extension can’t be uploaded”
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jul
PS: I have done a search on connect but could find the answer.

I’ve also tried this @Julien44 but not getting success to share photo here. You can post here only your saved photos or new photos.

Sorry for my late reply @Julien44
There is no way to share directly the photos loaded in maps here in Connect. You have two options.
Sharing the link. This is the simpliest and faster way
Locate the photo in your Drive archive, and share it through “IMGURL” as per this post by @TraciC : Tips for Uploading Images to Connect
Of course, in the last case, your photo will not be linked to your contributions in maps

No worries @ErmesT ! I know you had a short night
Thanks for your answer. I think I was doing it in the wrong way.
So the best way to do it, is to upload to google drive and then to lg connect or google maps.
Thanks a lot for your support

It is not very simple, @Julien44
And I am having some issues too, in using this procedure. It is related to the sharing permission in your photo. You should set the sharing permission for the photo and for the album first, then, when the photo is open, with the right click you can copy the HTML address of the photo.
Your photo is not visible for me yet.
If you like, we can make some test, indicating for each test the sharing permission, so to complete a guideline

Yes I can, but you can’t share that link inside the IMGURL.
This is a link generated by Google album. You need the physical address of the photo, ending with the extension of the file (like .jpg) @Julien44
Let me do a test in your photo when home in desktop, as in mobile it is quite hard to do it

Good, I’m happy that you can see the photo @Julien44
I opened the photo through the link you gave me
with right click, I have selected “inspect the page”
I have copied the real address of the photo
I have copied it in here through the instruction "img src=“IMAGEURL” border=“0”

@Julien44
Then paste your instructions
