Sorry @Ziyan this is not true, you can upload 360 images directly to Google Maps on desktop, and if have got the correct exif, will be recognized as panoramic images.

Please @ErmesT correct this best answer for public utility :wink:

@LucioV

The question is uploading 360 images through PC means uploading like through SVT app. (Linking with one another, blurring the faces and number plates etc.)

So, the simple answer is NO (isn’t?)

The way you told is normal and it was available from the beginning. as per the image Exif it will show 360 panoramic image but without above mentioned extra features. (for that only SVT app is the solution for now)

@Ziyan don’t take personally :wink:

The answer is bold YES, if you want to upload 360 using your PC you can, on Google Maps desktop.

And if you want to connect them and create a VT (that is not the original question) the answer is another YES, I publish only through Desktop PC. :wink:

Have a nice day.

As @LucioV told there are third party software like GoThru , Panoskin etc which is having subscription help to upload to Street view tour .

Old option is discontinued now but any of this providers will be soon made official I think .

Hello,

As stated by @Ziyan , at this time the only supported way to upload Streetview photos is via mobile.

To answer your question as to when the same functionality will come to PC, I’m afraid that Google does not pre-announce features nor timelines.

As always, a picture can be uploaded as a picture attached to a POI via either mobile or computer that can be seen among the other pictures, but this will not display in Streetview nor show separately on the map.

Ehm, @Flash what you wrote is totally wrong.

Sorry, I don’t know why are you trying to confuse users, but i suggest you to correct this information; have you ever uploaded a single image to Google Maps? We are all here to help users.

@Gazaly if you need more help in uploading photos to Maps using your PC, please, ask.

@Yohanad , @VicL1 could you please help in this discussion?

Have a nice day

I’m sorry, I missed one word, I’ve corrected it.

You are correct that 360 photos can be attached to POIs instead, but since the author is specifying that he’s looking for the feature that is in mobile to be moved to the PC it would seem that he is looking for a supported method to upload Streetview imagery.

@Flash it’s still not correct; the user didn’t asked for “street view photos”,

The answer is YES. Dot.

It’s a long time that we can upload 360 pictures as like we load standard pictures, directly on Google Maps, Desktop, on a PC.

I think you can agree.

You cannot create Virtual Tours from your PC, not inside Google Maps Desktop, anyway.

But you can publish single 360 photos from Google Maps; simply upload to a place.
