Does anyone have any experience with adding major roads and updating building maps? Today, a new freeway opened in Adelaide, Australia, the Northern Connector, and I submitted an edit. In such cases, how does it get verified?
Also, at Adelaide Airport, there has been a terminal extension just opened, with new stores. I added the names of stores but not sure how to offer an edit of the actual shape and layout. If anyone has advice please let me know!

Great contributions.
Lical guides are not able to edit the shape of buildings and roads on Google Maps, but we can provide feedback suggestibg such changes. It is easiest to do in the Android app. And it helps to attach documents and photos supporting what you think should be changed. This also includes links to newspaper articles etc.
One other way would be to contact the local authority that provided that initial map info to Google. As soon as they have updated their map and submitted updates to Google a new road should become visible on Google Maps.
