Has the process for adding captions changed?
When you go to a maps location, and you select “update,” it used to let you post a photo/video along with a short caption.
Now, it looks like it only allows you to post the photo/video with no option for a caption anymore. Not sure if that was a process change, or could I just be missing something?

Yes dear @rmackman, it is reported in here while ago but you still can add captions to a photo through reviews or adding photo section by clicking the photo and clicking on right bottom editing caption option.

Thanks @Rahul001! I was going crazy trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. 
Glad to know.
Even though we can still add captions to a photo, points are not added or given for it. Please refer this post. @rmackman
