UP-Close with the Indian Peacock

I love sharing photos as a local guide and am going to tell you just why.

This is a colorful species of bird called the Indian Peacock and comes from a bigger family called Peafowls. Male peafowls are referred to as peacocks, and female peafowl as peahens. The peacocks spread their feathers when they want to attract a lover peahen. Amazing right? I traveled over a 100Km just to capture some special moments with these birds. To me photography is just a way to store memories and tell stories many years later. Photography gives someone a million miles away an opportunity to discover and see the existence of what they probably never imagines existed and actually inspire them to explore. Anytime i pick up photos of my 5 year old daughter right from birth, i can relive those special moments of having to hold her for the 1st time and seeing her develop through all the milestones till now. Yes, that is how powerful photographs can be.

I love to share my photos simply to inspire others and explore their literary imaginations. I share the photos because i feel not everyone is privileged to be where i am at any particular time to see and experience what i am seeing so i am obligated to share.

It gives me pride to be able to help people to properly navigate and explore the many interesting places in Ghana by sharing photos.
