My name is Miguel Ángel, I have been living in Cartagena (Spain) my whole life, and here is where I have studied my career, I am a nurse. If I had to describe myself, I would say I am an enthusiast of photography, hikking and traveling, and I love showing my city to people. That’s the reason why I discovered Google Local Guide some years ago.
Cartagena is famous around the world as an intercultural city. Thousands of tourists are coming each year to visit ancient places such as the Roman Theatre or the House of Fortune, and learn about its tri-millennial history and culture. Many visitors fall in love not only with the picturesque views of the city but also with the amazing local cuisine.
I do believe that, apart from the culture and food, Cartagena has a lot of other things to offer. As an active type of person, that lives in a city full of sun, I enjoy spending my free time outdoors. To my surprise, I have discovered that the city with such a varied and breath-taking environment, does not advertise it enough to the tourists. That is why on my profile on Local Guides I try to show my hometown through the perspective of the surrounding landscapes.
