Hi,
I would like to ask Google if it is technically possible to offer to post photos from the same location only once? This would avoid duplication.
(Has anyone dealt with this yet?)

PS Of course, anyone can reject the submissions, but there are bound to be people who want to post as many photos as possible.
Great idea, but quite a few local guides love to post more than their very best photo.
First step could be to stop the app from suggesting users to upload photos that are already uploaded

@NUANCE sometimes it possible they get unchecked and some people do it on purpose to get more points but once they reach some higher levels this duplicate Contribution becomes bad data and invite unnecessary troubles for the profile and at that time when one invest so much into their profile and Contribution no body wants to get suspended for uploading multiple copies of same photo. You can ready about quality Contributions and issues people face during their journey at maps @MortenCopenhagen has wide array of post related to it.
I did a latest post regarding bad data you can read it here but I never uploaded multiple copies, it’s related to bad quality pictures and laid back and poor reviews. It might be beneficial to you.

Yes, My post was about the fact that it would be good for the app to be able to recognize that a person has already added a photo to a given object. And that the app should not offer to add a photo to the same object three times. But maybe that’s what the AI wants. To figure out what the person has done. I, of course, only add a photo once…
@NUANCE Ok i guess you are new so please always tag people by typing @ and selecting the name you are talking to. It’s keep people in loop and help in interacting quickly and get faster responses and also relevant person respond without confusion.
I think I misunderstood your question.
Did you mean, a place should only accept 1 photo per person or photo addition once and not after that by one person ?
