But , most of the tourists miss lots of beautiful locations because of the lacking of knowledge. So always remember to communicate with locals and visit to the rural areas. Most of the rural areas are very beautiful and best places to photographers.
Also , remember… srilanka has an amazing railway line. So enjoy it. Specially, You can find beautiful places near the sub railway stations. Don’t forget to catch the world famous railway journey to "Ella"

I’m living close to that location. About activities , this place is a good location to do photography. This place is famouse amoung train lovers/railway photographers and night time photographers. You can capture amazing light trails in this place. Also this place is very close to the " Henarathgoda Botanical Garden ".
