Dear Moderators & LGs, Namaskar! Expressing our heart full of gratitude for gifting such Wonderful & Valuable products like – Google Maps & LG Connect. “Freedom from Spam in Google Maps” - A dream of any user of Google Maps. I have been using Google from 2008; with my experience, in countries like India where citizens are Law abiding, the main need is to give “Awareness of Rules” – honestly this is the root cause of Spams in India at least (say, 95%). However, the present need of the hour is to remove the SPAM, currently available in Maps. So India Local Guides are dedicating an hour to inform the Google, the spams near our areas of houses: 1. Irrelevant Photos & Videos 2. Misguiding Reviews As a member of the Organising Team, I would request you to kindly allot some time to look into our work and remove the spams reported by us – this will surely be an inspiration for LGs, to do more. “Indian Local Guide Community” will celebrate this Independent Day of our country with “India Unity Walk” (spam free maps). The main motto of the mission is making Google Maps spam-free and update the correct information. This Meetup is in continuation of The Unity Walk - Spam Free Mission started by @rajuroyal , last year. Eagerly waiting to be a part of this valuable initiative, although I have been reporting many spams. with best regards
