This weekend I went down to Birmingham for my cousin’s 30 Birthday and we went.to Albert’s Schloss.
Never been here before but it was 100% worth it.
The venue is stunning, absolutely stunning. There are two bars and the drinks are delicious, and not bad prices too. My husband only drinks strongbow, so had to try a new cider, and was pleasantly surprised with Westerns Vintage cider, went down a treat!
I started with a Black Forest Gateaux martini (yum) then moved to vodka coke for the night.
There are lots of seats and tables around for people and the place was JAM PACKED! the queue outside went on for ages!
There’s a huge table with a fire, really nice if you’re coming in for a social drink.
The night included tapas style food and this was one of my favourite parts of the night. The bread was so fresh and soft, everyone devoured them! But my favourite was the spicy sausage slices, wow! They were delicious, and moist, so nice on a piece of the bread. Our food also came with a really nice prosecco.
Then the entertainment - wow!
The place was buzzing and kicked off with a singer and she was brilliant, getting everyone up dancing. Then the band came out with the resident dancers, dancing on the tables and it was just amazing to watch.
I wish I took more photos as my photos are so blurry! But I was more in the moment than trying to capture it.
- I went on a Saturday and would love to try one of their other event nights, absolutely loved it! And their hidden photo booth gave us lots of takeaway photo strips to remember the night!
