Avenue of Giants is located around 225 Miles North of San Francisco, CA. This is the trip I took around 9 years back. Please pardon the quality of pictures.
Avenue Giants is around 30 Miles long, where there are several point of interests, all focused around Giant red wood trees. I have compiled several point of interests in these pictures.
There is a Shrine-Drive through Tree, Chandelier Tree (another drive through Tree), Living Chimney tree, Tree house
@BorrisS Yes indeed, this is really amazing place to visit. I have visited several other redwood forest. This one definitely stands out. There are several cafes, grocery stores & restaurants near key vista points on the 30 mile stretch. There was no fee when I visited which is 9 years back. I checked their website there was no indication of any fee being introduced. So it is a free place to enjoy.
Wowww… that’s amazing and wonderful place. Size of trees is astonishing. Your photos are outstanding. Willing to visit in future if possible. Really nice post. Thank you so much for sharing it with us @jayasimha78
When I had the chance to visit this area, I felt like the trees were so ancient, had seen so much, that they had spirits of their own. I almost felt like I was intruding on their world at the wheel of my car. Did you have any reaction to the grandeur of these trees @jayasimha78 ?
@Kwiksatik I agree with you. When I visited here for the first time I never imagined trees can be so huge and old. It was just mind blowing experience.
