Unidentified Local Guide profile did RSVP for a meet-up

Dear Google or Connect Moderators

On my previous meet-up that I hosted, I saw some Local Guides (mostly level 1, 2, 3) did RSVP to my meet-up. I found out that their profiles were quite weird with no clear name and no review or photo uploaded to Google Maps at all. Then, a few days later, I saw that their profile photo and name suddenly disappeared just like the screenshot below.

What kind of profile is it? Is that an error Local Guide profile?

I also saw similar issue happened to the RSVP list of another Local Guides’ meet-up.

Akhir-akhir ini list peserta di topik Meet up selalu diganggu oleh adanya peserta misterius level 1 yang menamakan diri sebagai im3_cpa21 sampai im3_cpa27 dan seterusnya.

Apakah @TraciC tahu siapa mereka ? Kami semua penyelenggara meet up merasa terganggu, kalau itu gangguan, mungkin kami meminta tim google local guides bisa diambil solusinya.

Wah, ini cukup mengganggu ya pak @PaDeSSo

Apalagi kalau meet-upnya dengan batas peserta yang sudah ditentukan, ini akan menghilangkan kesempatan peserta lainnya untuk rsvp. Semoga masalah ini bisa mendapatkan penyelesaian yang baik.

Muncul lagi di meet up Accessible-Indonesia-Meet-Up dengan host @doc_dells , sangat mengganggu slot peserta

Di meet up yang lain pun selalu muncul, coba lihat juga di meet up batu LG

Dapat dibayangkan oleh @TraciC dalam meet up https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Gurugram-Accessibility-Parks/td-p/2643051#.XxenJA7R2dI ini peserta meet up sudah 20 yang reservasi. 14 peserta merupakan peserta misterius yang menghabiskan slot peserta.

Thanks @PaDeSSo for raising this issue. Actually this is not the first time. I remember in my previous meet up there was similar case too. There were some names that made reservations, I think about 10 fake accounts with level 1. I found out the account, however there is no further information in their accounts.

Anyone also have similar experience too?

Betul mas @br14n … Dan saya pernah mengalaminya pada satu meet up saya sebelumnya. Namun belum cek meet up lainnya.

Barangkali mas Brian bisa cek di rsvp meet up yang lalu? Jika memang ada ada hal semacam ini kita kita bantuan Google Moderator untuk melakukan investigasi lebih lanjut.

Hi @TusharSuradkar I just checked the reservation list on your next coming meet up and found out some mysterious participants. Which are occupied the slots. This is also happen to me.

Hi @AngieYC @TraciC could you please check on this matter? The mysterious accounts which can not be veriried that occupied the slot of reservation on several recent virtual meet ups? Thank you so much!

Thanks for mentioning this.

I noticed it too and was surprised.

It looks funny.

I don’t think it is spam though but just some programming glitch on Google part.

The issue was noticed by us, me and the India team, seems that the meet up attendees just 100 RSVP
