These sweet interactions with the local guides made the last day of my trip to Nepal even more memorable for me. I met local guides from Nepal in this meetup organized by Bangladesh Local Guides. We develop new friendships by sitting together in coffee shops, having tea and coffee and exchanging gifts.
We talk about local guiding, mapping and sightseeing in Nepal. I am very happy to learn many new information about Nepal from them. Through this conversation, I realized that local guiding is not just a profession, it is a calling of the heart. Local guides work to showcase the culture, heritage and beauty of their country to the world.
Through this meetup I felt, we are all members of the same family. Despite the differences in language, culture or race, we share the same love for humanity and travel. This meetup inspired me more towards local guiding.
I hope there will be more such meetups in the future and we can all strengthen the local guiding community together. Thank you to the local guide Rupendra Da Pandey, we were all impressed with your hospitality and sincerity.
