I have a cycle, luckily. A few years ago, I was addicted to cycling. However, now I don’t have the addiction but still love cycling so much. The cycle is from Raleigh and with me for more than five years. So, you must say I have a pretty good relationship with her.
I am one of those persons who don’t feel comfortable to stay at the home whole day. Instead of staying home and relaxing, I like to move here and there alone or with friends. Most of the times, I have to move solo as most of my friends are not the same type as me.
However, the day I am talking about was a holiday, and I was feeling bored sitting at home scrolling my Facebook wall. Suddenly I thought I can go out and enjoy a cycle ride. At least I’ll be able to avoid the boredom for a few hours. Thinking that I started to knock my friends. Luckily I got one who was being bored at home too. We talked and came out with our cycles.
I was looking for going somewhere where I haven’t gone yet. There was a place in my mind, but my friend didn’t want to go that far. Instead of that, he said- “Let’s go to that old bridge where we went last year.”
He was talking about a small bridge which was around 14 kilometers away from our home. The place is somewhere called ‘ULUKHOLA’. We went there last year and passed some time there. Though it is in a village, the view was not great but satisfactory. “Okay, let’s go,” I replied.
We started together and reached the place within 1 hour. After coming out from the busy roads, I started to enjoy the ride so much. There was a wind that helped us to stay away from tiredness. But when we have reached the bridge, it was really mind-blowing.
I have already said that it was inside a village. The view of the surroundings was really amazing. The green fields and trees were absolute peace of eyes. There was a strong wind that is absolute mind-blowing. All the boredom and sadness were washed away after seeing the natural beauty of the place.
It was just another regular village, but the environment was really great. I think on that day, nature increased the contrast of the place to a perfect level. We sat there for some time and enjoyed the view fully. After that, we took some pictures and started for home as the evening was very near.

I am so much excited about that day and place because I saw my familiar place in a totally different image that day. Maybe if I didn’t have the cycle, I couldn’t enjoy this absolute beauty of nature. The day will remain in my mind for a long long time.
