This is a common scene in some parts of northern India and is a good break from the mad rush of driving on the freeways
All those cows seen in Brazil are off-springs of a few dozens originally from India and donated about 60 yrs ago. This species from India is called the bos Indicus and is preferred for its high-quality milk over the bos Taurus variety. The bos Taurus is suitable for its meat but in India the holy cow, the bos Indicus is never killed for its meat - it is treated as a family member like a dog or cat in western countries.
How nice! I’m glad you liked the video!
It was a difficult opportunity to have a 360 camera available at that time. I tried to enjoy it.
Very interesting this information you brought us.
It really must be common there in India.
I am a vegetarian, I totally agree with this treatment, just like cats and dogs.
Thank you very much for the explanations!
You should also have very different or fun pictures out there …
@Eros_Hassen a herd of elks or a herd of mountain goats is a common traffic Jam in Jasper town. That’s a big herd of oxen there. Must have taken a while for you to get through that foot traffic.
Nice!
It must be very beautiful to see a herd of elks.
I have seen goats, but less.
I had never seen a large herd of oxen in the middle of a busy road until that moment … hahah
I need to visit Jasper Town …
Yes, it took me a while … But the path is part of the journey.
@Eros_Hassen there are hundreds or thousands of them in Jasper. They are Kings and Queens of the roads… Drivers have to yield. and they take so much time to move… they would stare at you first as if trying your patience…
I actually have come across camel traffic jam along Abu Dhabi bypass road. But having cattle jamming traffic has been normalized in my country side in Nigeria, I don’t know for whatever reason though.
