The best things in life come to you when you least expect them. One such experience was one that I had never dreamt about. It was a Limousine ride during my Las Vegas visit last year.
I stayed in the Silver Sevens Casino Hotel for 2 days and had a bittersweet experience which I promptly shared on Google Maps.
The most delightful thing came after check out. A Limousine appeared out of nowhere and stopped right in front of me. The driver informed me that I was offered a complimentary drop to the airport. I realized I had lucked out. Remember, ‘getting lucky’ is not a phrase used in this regard in the US. It has a different meaning.
During my previous visits to the US, even a glimpse of a limousine passing would delight me and now I was here overwhelmed with this offer. I requested the driver to take a photo of me standing outside the Limo - a short word used for a Limousine in the US.
The interiors were nothing short of a dream.
There were lavish sofa-like seats where one could stretch out or sleep. The limo is so spacious that a group of 6-7 people can even enjoy a party inside it.
There was also a mini-bar with complimentary drinks.
I just sat there stunned and stoned enjoying the views of the fabulous buildings and hotels of Las Vegas. Everything outside looked different at that moment than it would if I were walking on the sidewalks or driving any other car.
I took some selfies and the Limousine is so big that you can easily see the driver vanishing away in perspective at the far end in the photo below.
