I am a leven 7 Local Guide from Nepal. I am eligible to fill the form for local guide connect 2020 but at time of event my age won’t be 21. So want to ask you all should i fill the form for the connect live and are there any chance of mine to get a chance to be at connect 2020. Despite my age being 20 .

The minimum age for the Local Guides program is 18 years old as stated by the Terms & Conditions of the program.
However, as stated in the FAQ section of Connect Live, participants must be 21 years old by the start of the event (ie. Oct. 11th, 2020). Yes, you still have the option to fill out the entire application but you would be considered ineligible for the event. Thank you for highlighting this. I apologize for the inconvenience.

There is a reason for this requirement, first, I would like to state that there will be beverages during the event such as alcohol or wine, you must be able to take responsibility and be able to manage or control your self there as an adult or young adult. These are some of the reasons why you have to be at that age during that period. What @Anshu3 has shared with you is 100% correct. You still have a chance next time or next year if the summit will be there again. Have a nice day.

I’d like to let you know, that I’ve removed the Local Guides logo from your post, as using official Google or Local Guides logo is violating our program rules.
You need to be 21 in order to attend Connect Live, as 21 is the legal drinking age in the United States and alcohol will be present at some events. We understand that you’d like to be eligible to attend this event, but we can’t make any exceptions.
