Well it took me long enough to stick my foot in the bay water of Green Eggs & Bellingham. I’m at the soft hobby level of writing reviews & would like to expand my evolution; I do admit sticking the foot (mentioned above) in my light hearted mouth. Just know dear reader(s), I mean well, my will is Good & my blood runs red & ready to water the Freedom of Speech gardens. I have a lot to give in word & vernacular & I will not sell out or shrink my personal views, “spectastes” or opinions when writing about local businesses in the form of Reviews. To augment or diminish ones experience in the purpose of watering down a particular truth, especially words newsworthy for public eyes & diverse minds, well, that is nothing short of electronic heresy. Probably a good thing we’re not paid, right? I seem to have a decent amount of views but zero (0) followers. Is this a norm for Reviewing? Just curious. I have a lot more to offer & welcome comments.

Respectfully,

John Schutte

First thing first

@Onowatt Contributing to Google Maps is a voluntary activity

A community service if you would like to call it.

Also, gaining followers takes time.

Looking at your Google Maps contributions you have too few reviews and most of them do not have photos.

Photos that you have contributed are repetitive or nearly identical.

In many places, you have posted selfies.

Would you like to follow a person who posts like this on Google maps?

Thank you for the constructive criticism, I listen & consider, just so you know because there’s people who take offence to suggestion (why I’ll never know, but it takes all kinds to make this ball of dirt spin round & round.

Tushar is right …followers will come… keep posting on Maps! I got so many from my photo and video posts! Adding a photo to Local Guide Connect posts always helps too!
