I’m trying to put an actual location of a hospital on Google Maps but I’m unable to, possibly because the business has been claimed.
The hospital has an emergency department so people should be able to be guided there by Google Maps but that is impossible currently.

Can you help @BorrisS or someone else? Can Google Maps fix the fault so I can add the actual location?

You have found a business with a Service Area rather than a physical address. Normally this is used by plumbers and locksmiths to indicate the area where they can serve their customers.
Unfortunately, Local Guides can not edit this or change it into normal business with an address rather than a service area. My best bet is you should contact the Hospital and ask them to fix their listing on Google Maps. Or you can try leaving feedback. The latter is seldom very effective in my experience.
I certainly agree that a hospital with an emergency department should have an address. Unless they only take patients arriving on their own ambulances.

Contact them, to show how difficult can be for a Map user to reach the hospital.
BTW, Morten, I had an interesting experience a few days ago, about an Hospital (claimed) that I visited several times due to a personal issue.
The fourth time I went there, a pop-up from Google Maps asked me to indicate the position of the Hospital entrance.
Now, the people driving to the hospital is addressed directly to the gate. Nice
