I am now completely unable to post a review on Google Maps.
It’s a cycle, it comes and go, and for the last six months or so, I didn’t have any trouble posting long reviews with photos.
I tried using the internet browser on the computer, it worked for the penultimate review but not the new one.
I tried emptying cache and clearing data. It let me “post” the review but it never showed. The photos would never upload.
I was on Wi-Fi at home, there wasn’t any settings precluding me from doing so. As proof, I could upload pictures directly onto Google Maps.
Furthermore, I tried uploading the pictures one at a time, to no avail.
My reviews have never been marked as spam. I have written over 400 reviews over the course of the years.
I have a Google Pixel 7 running on Android 15
BP1A.250305.019
The problem clearly isn’t on my end, so can anyone from Google get his or her hands on this?
It’s quite frustrating, to be honest.

Hey Valeuraph,
May be because google has started reviewing 5 reviews that are not genuine and given 5 star only because of GBP ranking purpose, so that’s may be a reason that you’re not able to give a review to that profile.

Time by time I had an issue too, and I was able to fix it by deleting it and adding the review from desktop.
I tried that too. It worked once with another post, but not this time.

Yes, and to make things worse, I can’t even delete it anymore!
“Unable to delete review”
I can’t change it, I can’t add pictures, I can’t delete it.
What is going on? It seems like my review broke Google Maps .

Yup, it happened to me too in the past. @Valeuraph
I was able, if I remember correctly, to delete it from desktop, but I had also to clear cache and cookies in the App, and then to remove, reinstall and update the App to the last version.
Apparently it was a glitch on the App, that for some reason was creating a kind of loop in the process.

In any case, before breaking Google Maps any further, I’ll wait for @DeniGu to take a look at this.
I had just managed to delete my pictures, hoping it would facilitate the posting of my review, but it did not resolve the issue.
So, if this gets fixed, I’d like to upload and attach pictures to it again!
It’s much better to write a review and give it some visual context.

Update : the post got deleted (by itself?)
I tried uploading it again, with pictures.
I didn’t get any error message but the pictures still won’t upload… And so my review doesn’t show.
