I’m unable to post an announcement for the meetup. I want to prepone the meetup but this post-announcement feature is not working. I tried both on my mobile and laptop. Checked on Firefox, Edge and Chrome and it’s not working anywhere.
Please check it once and revert back at the earliest.
Hi @FazeelUsmani thank you for reaching out. I hope you know the rules that you can only send a maximum of up to 3 announcements. Can you please share a screenshot of what is happening after you click “Post Announcement”? Meanwhile, you can update your post Accessible Hyderabad and tag the attendees, so they can see that you want to change the date of the meet up.
P.S.: I would like to ask you to keep the good tone of Connect. The abbreviation ASAP is considered impolite.
Yes, @Raphael-Mahumane I know that we can send upto 3 announcements. This was my first announcement and I’m unable to post it.

When I click post announcement, nothing is happening. It is remaining the same as if there was no response.

Hi @FazeelUsmani I’ve seen this problem happen with internet explorer - what browser are you using? Do you have any pop up or ad blockers turned on?
Hi @PaulPavlinovich , I’ve tried in Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Edge but it’s not working anywhere. It seems the pop-up blocker is disabled.
That is quite weird @FazeelUsmani I don’t have any upcoming meet-ups or I’d give it a try - I got an announcement from an organiser whose meet-up I’m going to this weekend during the week so it at least has been working recently.
Are you doing it on a work or school machine that might be behind a proxy server or firewall?
When you hit the button, at that time there can be delay while it emails all of your attendees before anything seems to happen.
If you’ve got a lot of attendees that can take a long time. Are you waiting or are you closing the window after a short time?

No worries, @PaulPavlinovich . Yes, I’m trying on my personal laptop and also I tried on my mobile.
Yeah, for every meetup, I send these announcements every time it worked but don’t know why it’s not working this time. I see there are 16 people registered for this meetup and it takes some time to send emails to all attendees. Anyways, I’ve sent the notice to all the attendees via Connect post. Maybe there’s some technical glitch for my meetup. Do check anybody else is facing the same problem or not?
I haven’t seen anyone else report it @FazeelUsmani but that certainly doesn’t mean its not happening. Hopefully it is some temporary thing.
I know a guy doing a meet-up on Sunday - I’ll ask him to post an update and we’ll see if he can.
