One faster way would be to look for responses from Google moderators. That will save trouble.
PS. You are welcome to propose a suggestion in the idea exchange. Like we find a solution to any problem on the top in How-tos let the reply closing an idea be also at the top.
Following the link given by @C_T you will find the answer. I am sorry that you find “time consuming” reading a thread. I personally like to read it, because I can learn something more from different replies.

The point I wanted to make which I did not state explicitly is that searching through all replies is not just time-consuming, it is inherently an inefficient method.
I have the same thoughts, as you have suggested, “a way to create a link, like for the solutions on a post”
I just wanted to confirm if a solution to the issue stated already existed before proceeding to post in the Idea Exchange.
Regarding the reasons for an idea to be with changed status to Closed, I may add here the post How do I use the Idea Exchange and what happens to my ideas?. (much appreciated for checking @AshokPatel - however please be noted co carefully check also the link provided for most precise information)
